Extendable Pole Hoist Davit – DA 08

KARAM Davit Arm is specially designed for confined space entry/rescue applications. It is ideal for providing portable, safe overhead anchorage in large confined areas like manholes, storage tanks etc. It also allows the user to adjust the height accordingly for overhead clearance restrictions.

• The Davit system has three adjustment points, allowing it to be used in various locations where the anchor point is at a low level. This flexibility enables the system to adapt to different work environments.
• The end of the upper mast offset (boom) of the Davit system is equipped with an inbuilt swivel feature. This allows for rotation and movement, providing enhanced manoeuvrability during operations.
• The Upper mast offset (boom) of the system comes with three adjustable positions, allowing the user to adjust the height according to specific requirements. This adaptability ensures optimal positioning for the task at hand.
• The base of the Davit system is equipped with swivel pads. These pads help ensure balance and stability during installation, enhancing the safety and effectiveness of the system.
• The Davit system comes with preinstalled mounting brackets that are compatible with KARAM winches, including PN 801(DP), PN 817(DP), and PN 818(DP). It also works with Retrieval Blocks PCGS 20R and PCGS 30R. Each of these components can be mounted using their respective mounting bracket SA 17(26).
• The Davit system is designed to be used in both vertical and horizontal confined space entries. This versatility makes it suitable for various confined space applications where a regular anchorage system may not be feasible due to limited height constraints or specific entry requirements.
• Comes with anchor point DA 08(10) to be used to access the side entry vessels and tanks.
